San Francisco Vet Center offers individual and group counseling:

• Vietnam Veterans group
• Iraq/Afghanistan group
• Veterans Support Group

Specialty care includes:

• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Therapeutic activities such as horse riding, outdoor activities and events.

San Francisco Vet Center has Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists onsite to offer family and couples counseling.

Specialty care at our center includes:

• Women's group (Female spouses of Veterans support group)
• EFT (Emotional Focused Couples Therapy)
• Gottman couples therapy protocol

San Francisco Vet Center supports local Veterans through partnerships with government and community agencies, including:

• Law enforcement and other first responders
• Community College of San Francisco
• San Francisco State University and University of San Francisco
• California Department of Veteran Services
• National Guard and Reserve components

The West Los Angeles Vet Center can help you know where to go and how to register for:

• VA medical benefits and care
• Filing for disability claims and other benefits
• VA education or training benefits
• Education and referral for VA burial benefits
• Housing and home loan benefits
• Veteran Designation on California Driver's License and ID Card

We know that addiction and substance abuse issues often accompany trauma-related conditions.

We can refer Veterans in need of such services to excellent programs at the local VA or the community for outpatient treatment or residential care. 

Our Vet Center offers bereavement counseling to any family member who lost a loved one while serving on active duty. This includes members of the National Guard and Reserve Components.
