The Vet Center offers couples and family services to those eligible. To include dependents of currently deployed service members.

At the Peninsula Vet Center, we offers groups for couples and families, including:

1. Partners Group
2. Parenting thru the Pandemic

The Vet Center is a safe space for all service members and Veterans.

Citrus Heights Vet Center may help you know where to go and how to register for

• VA medical benefits and register for care
• Filing a military-related disability claim and other forms
• Understanding your VA education benefits
• Housing and home loans
• Education and referral for VA burial benefits

We may also connect you with State benefits assistance and local Veteran Service Organizations.

We can also provide referral to VA and local community counseling resources.

At the Chico Vet Center, we can connect you with the VA HUD-VASH program, V.E.C.T.O.R.S. transitional housing,  or other community resources to assist you with emergency, temporary, and permanent housing options.  Also, the Chico Vet Center is a proud partner of the annual Butte County Veteran Stand Down.

To assist bringing Vet Center information and services to eligible Veterans, the Chico Vet Center engages with various community organizations: 

• Chico VA outpatient clinic
• Local Veteran/Service Member support organizations (Veterans of Foreign Wars, AmVets, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and Vietnam Veterans of America)
• National Guard and Reserve units (649th Engineer Company)
• Local Civilian Veteran-Friendly Organizations (Butte County Veterans Continuum of Care and Tehama County Veterans Collaborative)

We understand that navigating the variety of resources can be a challenge. The Chico Vet Center can help educate you on topics such as:

• How to get VA medical benefits and register for care
• Where to go to file claims and other forms
• Understanding your VA education benefits
• Housing and home loans
• Education and referral for VA burial benefits

The Chico Vet Center can also connect you to Veterans Service Organizations in your community.
