We offer support and community referrals, including referral to the Orlando VA Healthcare Systems’ Intimate Partner Violence Coordinator.

For those who have lost someone, the Orlando Vet Center provides support, counseling, education, and referrals (as needed).

We understand the benefits found in including family members in treatment and are honored to be able to support the Veteran’s readjustment with these additional services.

We work to bridge mental health care with every other aspect of Veterans’ lives.  You can expect your counselor to help you highlight the connection between mental health and various aspects of self-care (e.g. food and drink, working your body, surroundings, spirit and soul, personal development, recharging, and relationships). 

We understand that the transition from military to civilian life can be a challenge. We offer a variety of ways to assist you in that process such as:

• How to get VA medical benefits and register for care
• Where to go to file claims and other forms
• Understanding your VA education benefits
• Housing and home loans
• Education and referral for VA burial benefits

We can also connect you to Veterans Service Organizations in your community. Please give us a call and we will guide you to the most appropriate resource you require. 

We offer secure and confidential individual and group counseling through telehealth. You can schedule a phone or video appointment for Vet Center counseling services.

We have easy-to-use telehealth platforms that allow us to provide you with our same high-quality services virtually. All you need is a smartphone or similar device, an internet connection, and a private location.

We understand that navigating the variety of resources can be a challenge. Our office can help educate you on topics such as:

• Where to go to file claims and other forms
• Understanding your VA education benefits
• Housing and home loans
• Education and referral for VA burial benefits

We can also connect you to Veterans Service Organizations in your community. Please give us a call and we will guide you to the most appropriate resource you require. 

To complement our counseling services, we partner with entities such as: 

• Local Veteran/Service Member support organizations
• Local military installations
• National Guard and Reserve units

Our Vet Center offers bereavement counseling to any family members of Armed Forces personnel who died in the service of their country. Family members of Reservists and National Guardsmen who die while on duty are also eligible.
