Our research programs

In fiscal year 2019, VAPHS received $18.2 million for 116 investigators to work on 350 projects. VAPHS is accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care. Major research emphases include:

If you decide to volunteer for a research study, you can change your mind at any time. Your decision to participate (or not) will not affect your VA benefits.
