At the Montgomery Vet Center, our counselors are skillfully trained and experienced with providing counseling for military sexual trauma (MST).

• The MST experienced doesn’t have to be reported.
• We thrive to create a harassment-free and all-inclusive environment.
• We offer group counseling sessions for those who have experienced MST.

We have counselors who use a trauma-informed care approach to provide therapy and supportive services to MST survivors. We can accommodate your preference of counselors’ gender. We can also facilitate enrollment and treatment in VA health care for any physical injuries related to your MST.

We have male and female counselors available to provide individual counseling. We can incorporate trauma-focused evidence-based therapies.

Our counselors are experienced and trained to help people cope with military sexual trauma. We currently have both male and female counselors available to help you. 

You’ll first meet with the Vet Center Director and then be scheduled with a counselor. Our counselors are licensed, certified, and trained to assist those who experienced sexual trauma while serving in the military. Male and female readjustment counselors are available.
