New Orleans Vet Center - Community engagement
We work with the VFW, American Legion, and other organizations within the community.
Midland Vet Center - Community engagement
To complement our counseling services, the Midland Vet Center partners with entities such as:
- Odessa VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic
- Texas Veterans Commission
- Local Veteran/Service Member support organizations
- National Guard and Reserve units.
McAllen Vet Center - Community engagement
To complement our counseling services, the McAllen Vet Center partners entities such as:
- Local Veteran and service member support organizations
- Local military installations
- National Guard and Reserve units
Lubbock Vet Center - Community engagement
The Lubbock Vet Center supports local Veterans and service members through partnerships with local universities, businesses, non-profit organizations, military installations, and National Guard Armories. We also provide referrals to Veteran Service Organizations in the community.
Little Rock Vet Center - Community engagement
The Little Rock Vet Center provides outreach service to assist with building local connections to help improve the quality of the lives of Veterans, service members, and their families. Through use of the Mobile Vet Center, our Veteran Outreach Program Specialist is able to reach Veterans and service members in both the metro community and rural areas. They can assist them with accessing information and referrals within both the VA system and private/public sectors to address a host of needs, such as benefits, health care, housing, food and nutrition, and socialization.
Additionally, the Vet Center hosts a monthly client and community stakeholders board meeting to assess the local needs of Veterans and service members and identify ways to continue to improve service provision and partnerships within the local community.

Laredo Vet Center - Community engagement
The Laredo Vet Center partners include:

At the Southwest Houston Vet Center, we strive to connect and gather resources from community partners, educate on our services and work together to help our Veterans and service members.
Not every Veteran we connect with may need counseling services so we aim to have resources at hand to help a Veteran attain assistance or direction to other resources that may be able to help them achieve their goal.
