We are committed to functioning as a focal point where Veterans, service members, and community partners can connect and engage. The Mesquite Vet Center can be your one-stop-shop to connect with all local Veteran agencies.  We actively partner with numerous local agencies.  

Mesquite Vet Center supports local Veterans and service members through partnerships with local universities, businesses, military installations, working with local law enforcement and National Guard Armories. We also provide referrals to Veteran Service Organizations in the community.

The NW San Antonio Vet Center takes pride in our community involvement and community engagement.  We have the unique opportunity to offer services to the community of San Antonio and surrounding areas via our Mobile Vet Center (MVC).  The MVC sets up wherever there are Veterans, service members, and family members in need of services. The Vet Center reaches across many different counties to serve our Veteran’s needs. We are able to reach the follow counties within our catchment area : Bandera, Bexar, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Medina, Menard, Real, Sutton, and Uvalde. The MVC can be requested outside our catchment area if needed.

In the event of a natural disaster the MVC can and has been used for its extraordinary communications capabilities and versatility it provides in an emergency situation.

Each MVC includes confidential counseling spaces for direct services. It also offers a  state-of-the-art satellite communication package. This includes fully encrypted tele-conferencing equipment, access to all VA systems, and connectivity to emergency response systems. Vet Center staff regularly collaborates with VA partners to create a single VA Footprint at events to ensure access to all available VA services and benefits.

The Lawton Vet Center values community partnerships and is intentional about engaging with our local communities regularly. Established local partnerships include:

• National Guard & Reserve Units
• State Universities & Community Colleges
• Veteran Service Organizations such as the Dale K. Graham Veterans Foundation and Veterans Corner   
• Oklahoma Department of Veteran Affairs (ODVA)  
• Texas Veteran Commission 

Our Veteran Outreach Program Specialist reaches out to Veterans and service members in metropolitan and rural communities to advocate for their needs. We strive to build connections with community partners through trainings, briefings, and referral services as well as educating local communities about military culture and topics related to military service. 

We participate in monthly client-based and community stakeholder meetings with:

• The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks 
• The Northwest Arkansas Continuum of Care Homelessness Program 
• The Northwest Arkansas Veterans Coalition

We continuously seek ways to improve partnerships within our community. Call or come visit us to learn more about our outreach efforts and community partnerships.

Your organization does not have to be Veteran-centric to learn how the Veteran culture may contribute to the community or your organization.

We have strong connections to the City of Chattanooga, as well as to the Veterans and service members who live here.

Our Outreach Program Specialist meets monthly with the Chattanooga Area Veterans Coalition and attends numerous community outreach events each year. We also work to expand our partnerships to help Veterans and service members find the resources they need. Please call us if you would like to learn more.
