San Marcos Vet Center offers evidence-based therapies, including

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

We can also help with anger management and insomnia.

At San Marcos Vet Center we offer individual and group counseling. Our specialty groups include:

• Vietnam Combat Veterans
• OEF/OIF groups
• Combat Veterans (era integrated)

At San Marcos Vet Center, we have two Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists that can offer counseling services for families to support you as you work toward meeting your goals.

"Warrior to Soul Mate (W2SM) / PAIRS Communication" is another couples counseling program that is offered at San Diego VAMC. If interested, please ask our counselors for additional information and/or referral. 

Connections to local community facilities are just one phone call away. Our staff are dedicated to help veterans find the outside resources they need if our vet center cannot help immediately fulfill their needs.

Additionally, we offer a general Addictions and Substance abuse group on Wednesday evenings. Please ask your counselor for additional details if you are interested.
