San Luis Obispo Vet Center has Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists onsite to offer family and couples counseling.

Specialty care at our center includes:

• Significant Others Support Group
• EFT (Emotional Focused Couples Therapy)
• Gottman couples therapy protocol

Veterans in rural communities may be able to connect remotely with San Luis Obispo Vet Center counselors and staff to receive services.

At the Tacoma Vet Center, our specialized care includes:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
• Group Psychotherapy

We also collaborate with community agencies on occasion to offer additional outdoor therapy and community events to our clients.

Telehealth services are especially valuable if you live in South West Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula, or other remote locations in our catchment area.

We keep in touch with LGBTQ+ service providers at VA Puget Sound and can make a direct referral for you. Mental health counseling or case management is also available if you meet eligibility criteria.
