The Little Rock Vet Center is well equipped to provide compassionate counseling services to assist with improve the overall mental health and wellness of your family. We employ counselors with a wide variety of experience and knowledge.

One area of specialization is couples counseling. Couples counseling is designed to work with the couple to understand the dynamics of the relationship, identify the areas of concern, and guide the couple to finding solutions through a variety of methods. Couples counseling aims to provide support in making necessary changes to improve the health of the relationship while not blaming, finding fault in one individual, or issuing punishments. 

We also have counselors with experience and expertise in working with children and young adults through both family and individual counseling sessions. Areas of specialization include evidence-based treatments to address trauma, behavioral issues, parenting, difficulty with managing emotions, anxiety, and readjustment within the family system—to name a few.

The Laredo Vet Center offers the following counseling services:

• Spouses, children, and significant others are eligible to receive services at the Vet Center.

We offer marital and family counseling to support the reintegration process of Veterans and service members into a safe home and family environment. If they matter to you, they matter to us.

The Southwest Houston Vet Center provides counseling for couples and families to include the following:

• Family Systems
• Gottman Method

In addition, counselors may provide education to family members regarding the Veteran's military related problems and/or post military readjustment.

Jackson Vet Center has Licensed Social Workers  to provide family and couple counseling . 

The Fort Worth Vet Center has clinicians who can provide services such as:

• Individual counseling for couples, spouses, and other family members
• Couples counseling

Relationship counseling and family therapy are core services at our Vet Center. The demanding nature of military life and inherent prolonged absence, let alone the uniqueness of combat service and other experiences, can undermine relationships.  Our team of counselors can help you reinforce your relationships.
