Vet Center service description

Our Vet Center provides marriage, couples, and family counseling to eligible service members and their families that may experience readjustment and relational distress following redeployment, military relocation, retirement, or incidents of infidelity, and much more.

LMFTs and additionally trained staff support members through talk therapy and evidence-based practices (EBPs) which include, but are not limited to;

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Couples Therapy
  • Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy
  • Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy
  • The Gottman Method

Johnson City Vet Center - Couples and family counseling

Vet Center service description

We offer individual and group counseling, including a group for significant others.

We encourage your partner or other family members to join your individual therapy sessions, once or twice to learn more about your needs and ways to best support you during your treatment. 

Kalispell Vet Center - Couples and family counseling

Vet Center service description

The Kalispell Vet Center provides eligible Veterans, and in some cases their family members, a variety of direct psychological services.  We strongly encourage spouse/significant other involvement in Veteran counseling as a resource that cannot be overlooked.  Families are strongly encouraged to participate in the healing process for Veterans.  

Groups: 

  • Spousal and Caregiver Support Group- Process/support group with psychoeducational component for spouses and caretakers of Veterans while addressing challenges and self care. 

Missoula Vet Center - Couples and family counseling

Vet Center service description

The Missoula Vet Center provides eligible Veterans and, in some cases, their family members with counseling services to aid with a Veteran's readjustment.    

The Missoula Vet Center care includes:

  • Individual counseling to the Veteran, service member, and eligible dependents to address issues stemming from military service.
  • Couples and family counseling to help family members deal with problems associated with the Veteran or service member’s readjustment issues.
  • Referrals to appropriate clinical services in the community for increased support when necessary.

The Boulder Vet Center provides eligible Veterans, service members and in some cases their family members, a variety of direct counseling services.  We strongly encourage spouse/significant other involvement in Veteran's counseling.  Families are strongly encouraged to participate in the healing process for Veterans.  

At the Boulder Vet Center, we offer

  • Individual counseling to the Veteran and eligible dependents to address quality of life issues
  • Couples and family counseling to help family members deal with problems associated with the Veteran’s readjustment issues
