We understand the challenges of substance use problems and addiction. We work closely with the following partners to help you access inpatient and outpatient recovery services as well as community support programs and groups:
Louisville Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We can help connect you to substance use programs with VA. Our local VA Medical center has included Wooded Glen as a Community Care option for substance use treatment.

We also work closely with our local care providers to help you with addiction, detox, or gaining stability.
Baltimore Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
The Baltimore Vet Center will actively coordinate referrals for substance abuse counseling to both VA and community organizations.
Danbury Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
Danbury Vet Center can direct Veteran to the VA Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (SUDTP) within the West Haven VA Medical Center, other community residential treatment programs contracted with the VA and support groups within the community.
Norwich Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We partner with the local VA medical center and other local agencies to connect you to the care that will best fit your needs.
Trenton Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
Trenton Vet Center offers one on one counseling and group sessions to give practical and clinical support for overcoming addictions.
Our current group meets on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

Bloomfield Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We provide a bi-weekly group which meets every other week for substance abuse. The purpose is to help Veterans and service members maintain an alcohol- and drug-free lifestyle. It’s for Veterans and service members who previously used alcohol or drugs to self-medicate.
We have English and Spanish-speaking counselors available for one-on-one counseling for substance abuse issues.
Buffalo Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
The Buffalo Vet Center can help you overcome substance use problems, from unhealthy alcohol use to life-threatening addiction. We'll connect you to services for your specific needs.
