We work closely with and provide referrals to our local VA Medical Center substance use programs.

We can help you understand how problematic drinking or drug use might be related to other stressors in your life. We’ll help support you with relapse intervention and prevention. We’ll also connect you with more intensive or comprehensive substance use treatment programs within VA or in our community, if needed.

The Lee County VA Healthcare Center Substance Abuse Program offers help for Veterans and service members with a chronic mental illness or substance abuse addiction by providing inpatient and outpatient treatment.

We offer individual and group counseling to help with addiction and substance use. 

We also can provide referrals to ensure continuity of care. 

Raleigh Vet Center has therapists to support your needs and can facilitate referrals to the VA Medical Center for treatment if necessary.

Unhealthy substance use often goes hand in hand with PTSD, depression, or stress. We can help you understand how problematic drinking, and drug use might be related to other stressors in your life and we can teach you how to take control over your substance use. We can also connect you to more intensive or comprehensive substance use treatment programs within VA or in our community, if needed.

We can provide screenings for substance use for you, as well as referrals to local Veteran-focused resources. We can connect you with both VA and community organizations.
