We offer group support too. Our Seeking Safety group can teach you skills to cope with impacts of trauma and substance use, and to feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

Detroit Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
Substance use often goes hand-in-hand with PTSD, depression, or stress. We can help you understand how problematic drinking or drug use might be related to other stressors in your life. We’ll help support you with relapse intervention and prevention. We’ll also help connect you with more intensive or comprehensive substance use treatment programs within VA or in our community, if needed.
Dearborn Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
There are a number of resources in the Tri-County Metro Detroit area and all of Southeastern Michigan. We can help connect you to the following resources:
- Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN). They have a 24/7 crisis line and intake screening. You can call them at 800-241-4949.
- Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH). They have a 24/7 crisis line and intake screening. You can call them at 586-948-0222.

Columbus, GA Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We can easily refer Veterans and service members in need of such services to excellent programs at the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System - Tuskegee VA in our community for outpatient treatment or residential care.
Naples Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
- We have counselors on staff to support your needs.
- We also provide community and VA referral resources as well.
Myrtle Beach Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We can provide referrals for addiction treatment and can provide additional support even if you are engaged in substance abuse treatment with another VA or community provider.
Augusta Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
The Augusta Vet Center will actively coordinate referrals for substance abuse counseling to both the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center and local community organizations.

At the Clermont Vet Center, we can provide long-term support to help Veterans and service members overcome underlying issues.
We can connect Veterans and service members struggling with addiction to the Substance Use Disorder in-patient program at the Orlando VA Medical Center to detox and gain stability.
We can also refer Veterans and service members to our community partners like Home | Sunrise Detox Orlando.
