These instructions are for a Mobile Vet Center which is affiliated with your Vet Center. If you partner with a Mobile Vet Center owned by another Vet Center, you'll add it as a Nearby Vet Center using a different process. Learn how to add a nearby Mobile Vet Center. 

Instructions

  1. After logging in, you'll be on your Vet Center dashboard with cards displaying different viewing or editing options.

  2. Scroll down past the cards to "Satellite locations."

  3. Find the Mobile Vet Center and click "Edit."

  4. Scroll down to "Facility photo."

  5. Click "Add media" to add an image. Images should be in landscape orientation and focused on the Mobile Vet Center. Drupal has limited cropping ability.

    • Click "Choose File."

    • Select the image from your computer.

    • Edit the "Name" of the image for your Mobile Vet Center.

    • The "Description" is optional and is for describing the image in the media library only. It won't appear to Veterans on VA.gov.

    • Enter "Alternative text" that describes the image for accessibility purposes.

    • In most cases, the image will be automatically displayed on your webpage in a 2:1 aspect ratio. You can adjust the focus area of the uploaded image.

    • Scroll down to "Section settings" and click the "Section" dropdown menu to select your Vet Center.

    • Check or uncheck if you want the image to be "Reusable" by other editors in Drupal CMS.

    • Click "Save and insert."

  6. Scroll down to the "Editorial Workflow."

  7. Click "Save as" and select a moderation state.

  8. Enter a "Revision log message" about what change you made this time.

  9. Click "Save."
