The Missoula Vet Center offers counseling and other support, such as:

• Bereavement counseling for families who have lost a loved one while they were serving on active duty.
• Community referrals for additional grief and bereavement counseling/resources.

Our Vet Center offers bereavement counseling to any family members of Armed Forces personnel who died in the service of their country. Also eligible are family members of Reservists and National Guardsmen who die while on duty.

Bereavement counseling is assistance and support to people with emotional and psychological stress after the death of a beloved service member. Bereavement counseling includes a broad range of transition services to include, outreach, counseling, and referrals for family members.

The Grand Junction Vet Center can offer counseling and other support, such as:

• Bereavement counseling for families who have lost a loved one while they were serving on active duty
• Grief counseling

• Eligibility is dependent on active duty status; regardless of peace time or war

We support Gold Star Families.  We offer grief and bereavement counseling if your service member died while serving on active duty.
