We support Gold Star families. We offer grief and bereavement counseling if your service member died while serving on active duty and to family members of Veterans who were receiving Vet Center services at the time of their death.

We have bereavement counseling and support available if this describes you:

  • Families of Veterans who were receiving Vet Center services at the time of the Veteran's death
  • Families of service members who died while serving on active duty

We can also connect you to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and the National Cemetery Administration (NCA) for assistance with burial and survivor services.

We offer bereavement counseling to to family members of service members who died while serving on active duty or to family members of Veterans who were receiving services at the time of their death. 

We can also provide information on community resources for additional grief or loss support, such as Mourning Hope.

We offer bereavement counseling to family members who experienced the death of a loved one while on active duty, including members of the Reserve and the National Guard, regardless of the time of death. We also offer services to family members of a Veteran or service member who was receiving Vet Center services at the time of their death.
