Little Rock Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
At the Little Rock Vet Center, we have clinicians with experience in treating substance abuse disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The Little Rock Vet Center provides individual and family counseling to assist with assessment and treatment and development of plans that may include one or more of the following:
- Referral for more intensive treatment at the local VA Medical Center or within the community through either inpatient or outpatient programming
- Referral to community support groups
- Recommendation for continued counseling services at the Vet Center or community provider

Houston West Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We refer Veterans and service members to the substance use disorder program at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, the Council on Recovery, and other community partners.
Houston Southwest Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
At the Southwest Houston Vet Center, we refer Veterans and service members struggling with addiction to Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and other community partners to detox and gain stability.
Jackson Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We refer Veterans who need help to overcome substance use problems and unhealthy alcohol use to the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center Addictive Disorder Treatment Program. Call 601-362-4471, ext. 1254 for more information.
Fort Worth Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We have trained counselors on staff who can support you and facilitate treatment if necessary. We also provide referrals to the local VA and community counseling resources.
El Paso Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We offer evidence-based therapies and referrals (as needed) to support your goals.
Dallas Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
Unhealthy substance use often goes hand in hand with PTSD, depression, or stress. We can help you understand how problematic drinking and drug use might be related to other stressors in your life. We can teach you how to take control over your substance use. Also, we can connect you to more intensive or comprehensive substance use treatment programs within VA or with an local community provider if needed.
