At the Provo Vet Center we can provide referrals to outside resources for substance abuse and addictions issues. Referrals include:
- Salt Lake VAMC Substance Abuse Program (inpatient/outpatient)
- Local agencies in the areas that specialize in substance use and addictions
Missoula Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
At the Missoula Vet Center, we offer individual and group counseling. We also provide referral services to appropriate resources in our community.
Care at our Center includes:
- One-on-one counseling sessions targeted at your individual needs
- Group counseling for Veterans
- Time limited interventions for spouse/significant others, and family members
Boulder Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We offer evidence-based therapies and referrals (as needed) to support your goals.

Grand Junction Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
Unhealthy substance use often goes hand in hand with PTSD, depression, or stress. We can help you understand how problematic drinking and drug use might be related to other stressors in your life. We can teach you how to take control over your substance use. Also, we can connect you to more intensive or comprehensive substance use treatment programs within the Grand Junction VA Medical Center or with an local community provider if needed.
Casper Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
The Casper Vet Center can connect you to services to help address your specific substance use challenges while providing adjunctive services to address the underlying issues. We refer Veterans and service members struggling with substance use to the Sheridan Veterans Affairs Medical Center and other community partners for detox, treatment, medication management, and to gain stability.
Salt Lake City Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
The Salt Lake Vet Center works hand in hand with the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System to provide substance abuse treatment in our community. For more information call the VA at 801-582-1565 x5405.
Billings Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
Substance abuse can take control of your life. There is help and options available to help overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol. The Vet Center can help you maintain sobriety through the support of caring:

Denver Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
We work with the Substance Use Disorder Program at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Center. This program is located at the main VA Hospital at 1700 N Wheeling St, Aurora, CO 80045.

Cheyenne Vet Center - Addiction and substance abuse care
The Cheyenne Vet Center can help you get connected to substance abuse programs, both inpatient and outpatient, with the VA. We also work closely with our community partners to help you when you are struggling with addiction, need detox or to gain stability.
