Where events content appears

The VAMC system home page

A select number of the next upcoming events that you've added for your VAMC system will automatically be featured on the home page.  You won't be able to change which events are featured, but site visitors will be able to see all events by navigating to the events page.

The events page on your VAMC site

There are two content types in the CMS that contribute to the events page on your VAMC site: Event, and Events list. 

The Events list content type controls the page title, page introduction, and meta tags for the Events page on your site. You probably won’t need to edit this information if your VAMC site is already set up. This content type will automatically display individual events for your VAMC system. 

The Event content type lets you add and edit individual events that will appear on the events page. You’ll need to make sure you set the right event listing for your VAMC when creating the event to ensure it shows up on your page.
