How to edit an Events list

Learn how to edit the content type that manages lists of event content, such as the VAMC Events page.

Before you start

  • You’ll need permission to edit a VA digital product that uses Events list in order to edit this content type. The following sections currently use events Lists: VAMC facilities, Outreach hub
  • For VAMCs: Don't edit this content unless you have a special reason to change the page introduction. The Events list is the landing page where your published events will be listed.

Events list

In most cases, you shouldn't need to edit the Events list. If you do, follow the instructions below.

  1. On your homepage after logging in, look under Sections and click on the section you want to edit.

  2. On the content search page, click the Content type dropdown menu and select Events List.

  3. Under the results list, find the content you want to edit and click Edit.

  4. Select the Office or health care system.

  5. If needed, edit the page Page introduction.

  6. Scroll down to Editorial Workflow and click the Save as state.

  7. Enter a Revision log message.

  8. Click Save.
