Fort Myers Vet Center - Grief and bereavement counseling
We offer grief and bereavement counseling services to family members of Veterans and service members for the following:
- Receiving Vet Center counseling services at the time of the Veteran’s death
- Families of service members who died while on active duty

- Contact information to the Veterans Benefits Administration and National Cemetery Administration regarding possible burial and survival benefits
Raleigh Vet Center - Grief and bereavement counseling
Raleigh Vet Center offers counseling and other support such as:
- Bereavement counseling for family members of Veterans who were receiving Vet Center services at the time of the Veteran's death, and to the families of service members who died while serving on active duty
- Grief counseling
- Referrals to community group counseling
Palm Beach Vet Center - Grief and bereavement counseling
Bereavement counseling (also sometimes called “grief counseling”) provides assistance and support for people going through emotional and psychological stress after the death of a loved one. Bereavement counseling includes a broad range of transition services, including outreach, counseling, and referral services to family members at no cost.
If you’re the surviving spouse, child, or parent of a service member who died while serving our country or a family member of a Veteran who was receiving Vet Center services at the time of the Veteran’s death, we're here to offer bereavement counseling to you.

If you’re having trouble adjusting to a difficult life change or someone close to you has passed away, we can offer counseling and other support, such as:
- Bereavement counseling for families who have lost a loved one while they were serving on active duty

- Contact information to the Veterans Benefits Administration and National Cemetery Administration regarding burial and survivor benefits
Savannah Vet Center - Grief and bereavement counseling
We also offer bereavement counseling to Gold Star family members. We also respond to referrals from the Tragedy Assistance Program for survivors (TAPS) to provide support to family members affected by the loss of a service member and/or Veteran.
