Note that you will only be able to see revisions for content within your section that you also have permission to publish.

Using revisions

  1. After logging in, on the content page, in the Title contains field, enter a keyword for the item you want to edit.
  2. Click Apply.
  3. On the results list, find the item you want to edit and click its title.
  4. Click the Revisions tab.
  5. Click the radio button next to the first revision you want to compare in the Select revision A column.
  6. Click the radio button next to the second revision you want to compare in the Select revision B column.
  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Compare selected revisions.
  8. Select a Layout option to view and compare the two selected versions of the node.
    1. Visual Inline: This layout option displays the node in the same format as you would see on the View screen.  Any new, updated content that was added in the more recent revision will be underlined and highlighted in green. Any content that was removed from the most recent revision will be highlighted in red and crossed out.
    2. Split Fields: The layout option displays a table with only changed fields for the node. The left side of the table is the first selected revision and the right side is the second selected revision.  The content for each field is shown - added content is highlighted in green with a preceding plus sign and remove content is highlighted in red with a preceding minus sign.
    3. Unified Fields: The layout option is similar to split fields in that it displays a table with only changed fields for the node. However this table combines the content from the revisions within one table column. Indicating if content was added using the green highlight and plus sign or removed with the red highlight and minus sign.
  9. When you're done, click Revisions in the breadcrumbs menu to return to the main revisions screen.
  10. Click the Revert button next to the revision you want to revert back to.
  11. You will be taken to a confirmation page. Click Revert again to confirm.
